CHARTERED ADMINISTRATORS PROFESSIONAL
MEMBERSHIP QUALIFICATION (ACIA)
Graduate Professional Development Programme
To enable Graduates qualify as Chartered Administrators in as short a time as possible; with a competitive advantage of being Graduates of FIRST CHOICE to employers of high level Professionals.
To equip candidates with multi-disciplinary professional skills that enable them gain versatile dynamic career, with ability to perform varying functions in organizations including but not limited to, Accounting/Finance, Administration/Management, Marketing, Purchasing and Supply, Human Resource, Stores/Inventory/Logistics.
This is based on the Institute’s current Professional Examination Scheme, comprising: Fundamentals Level, Operational Level, Management Level, and Final Strategic Level.
Any one of the following qualifications in any discipline: Degree, HND, or equivalents.
Candidates with qualification in administration related disciplines which substantially cover the Institute’s syllabus will be exempted from all subjects of the Fundamentals and Operational Levels; and are advised to privately read up the exempted courses in order to be able to answer questions in subjects at the higher Levels that may be linked with the exempted courses.
Candidates having qualifications in other disciplines with some business related courses will be exempted on subject for subject basis.
METHOD OF STUDY
Part time (weekends) available at the College Main Campus, and at National Secretariat Training Centre, as well as by Distance Learning using our Simplified Study Packs (SSP); commencing in February, May, and September Yearly.
Duration is 12 weekends for each level of the programme. Overall duration depends on the total exemptions granted.
AWARD OF CERTIFICATES
Candidates who successfully complete the Programme will attend Professional Membership Induction; scheduled in June 2018 at which they will receive the following awards:
- Chartered Administrators Professional Examination Certificate
- Associate Membership Certificate of Chartered Institute of Administration (ACIA).
Those who additionally complete the Institute’s Public Professional Practice Training at a later date will receive the Governing Council’s Professional Practice Licence, which empowers them to engage in Public Professional Practice as entrepreneurs offering their services direct to the Public as Chartered Administrators in Public Professional Practice; covering the wide areas of practice bestowed on the Institute by its Enabling Act; which includes Finance, Enterprise Administration, Human Resource, Marketing, Purchasing and Supply, Project Management, Management Consultancy, Pensions etc.
These are heavily subsidized by the Governing Council to encourage Graduates qualify as Chartered Administrators. The fees which are considerably lower than normally charged for regular programmes are stated below:
1. Application Form /Registration/ID Card (less N5,000 discount) ------ N5,000
2. Tuition per Level (less N16, 000 discount) ---------------------------------- N24,000
3. Examination per Level (less N6,000 discount) ---------------------------- N18,000
4. Research Project in Professional Administration -------------------------- N15,000
5. Mandatory Professional Administration Workshop ---------------------- N15,000
6. Exemptions @ N2,000 per subject
7. Student Annual Subscription N5,000 FREE
Tuition Fee can be paid in two equal instalments, namely: N12,000 before joining classes, balance of N12,000 before writing the Professional Examination.
