Nigerian College of Administration is statutorily recognized as the official professional education and training school for the professional examination courses of the Chartered Institute of Administration. This recognition is contained in the Chartered Institute of Administration Regulations published in the Federal Republic of Nigeria official Gazette No. 28 Vol. 84 of 25th April, 1997
Section 4(a) of the Regulation further provides that a person shall be eligible for admission as a member of the institute if he is a graduate of the Nigeria College of Administration and completes the period of practical experience as may be prescribed from time to time by the Council.
Duration is 6 months for holders of qualifications in business-related disciplines; or 9 months for others.

The College has two sessions in each year for Full-Time, Part time and Distance learning students, namely:
First Session: January – June
Second Session: July – December
Application for admission may, however, be made at any time in the year but students must commence their courses on one of the commencing dates specified above, and ensure that they complete all admission requirements including payments of course fees well ahead of the chosen commencing date. Students are allowed one or two weeks short break after the first session, an about three weeks holidays after the second session. Exact dates are announced as and when necessary.
In Addition the College observes all federal Government approved holidays, although in some cases students may be required to report for special lectures during holidays as part of intensive examination practice. Full time students maybe required to attend classes on week-ends when necessary.
The college does not provide hostel facilities for the students at the present time. This may be introduced in the near future. In the meantime, students who require hostel should make their own arrangement.
This procedure takes place immediately you receive a letter of admission and involves paying the tuition fees before the course commences. Thereafter, the college will confirm the admission and allocate student registration number which the student must quote in all correspondence with the college.
Method of Payment
Payment is strictly by bank draft drawn in favour of the college; or by direct cash lodgement into the bank account of the college at any branch of: Zenith Bank (A/C No. 1010223085), or First Bank (A/C No. 2018190845)
1.) Diploma in Business Studies
This Administrative Technician course, available on full time, part time (weekends) and distance study, is open to holders of a minimum of School Certificate or equivalents with Credits in at least 5 subjects including English Language, Economics, and Mathematics at two sittings.
It qualifies successful Diplomats for direct admission to the Intermediate Level of the Professional Membership Qualifying Course; and enable them gain employment i general administrative functions in all sectors of the economy. Duration is 18months if no exemptions are granted.
2.) Professional Membership Qualifying Course
This is available in two distinct programmes, namely: Regular course and Accelerated Study Scheme (ACCESS) as described below
a) Regular Course
Open to persons with Diploma Certificates approved by the Council;and available on part time and distant study only
b) Accelerated Study Scheme (ACCESS)
